the whole drama feels like a story from a romantic comedy anime - the storyline feels like kimi ni todoke which is favorite as well but the setting is hometown and the boy is shy while the girl is cheerful. while it could be attributed to korean society generally being pretty conservative, the attitude towards mental health, gender and sexuality, and sexual assault was distasteful at best. what i can only imagine were âhumorous pointsâ just felt flat. poor writing and worse acting led to, personally, a pretty bad watching experience overall

Seriously guys, I cannot describe how funny and heartwarming this drama is. Things I loved: showing how an introverted person struggles in daily life, character development of literally everyone, strong friendships, romance, super hilarious moments, it has a lot of sad moments too (which make the characters stronger and help them develop), strong girl moments (!)
